1. Mechanical Assembly.

The spot welding machine system comprises mechanical, power supply, and control assemblies. To meet welding process requirements, the pressure mechanism (welding gun) employs a dual-stroke rapid pneumatic transmission system. Adjusting the stroke control handle alters the welding gun's opening range, enabling selection between large and small openings to accommodate welding tasks. Typically, the short-stroke opening is used for welding aluminum. When the control button is switched to the energized position, pressing the handle switch clamps and applies pressure to the welding gun. Simultaneously, under control system regulation, the current reverts to the short-stroke opening state upon completion of the welding cycle.

2. Power Supply Unit.

The main power circuit comprises a resistance welding transformer, thyristor unit, main power switch, and welding circuit. The welding equipment currently in use is a single-phase AC resistance welder with a power rating of 200kVA and a secondary output voltage of 20V-40V. Due to the co-line production of various vehicle models, the welding gun must weld both high-strength steel plates and low-carbon steel plates. The gun arm must transmit significant mechanical forces and welding currents. Therefore, the strength, rigidity, and heating properties of the welding gun must meet specific requirements, with excellent conditions for electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. Conductivity and thermal conductivity. Additionally, the welding gun requires water cooling, necessitating the selection of a new type of welding gun arm capable of withstanding 400k pressure.

3. Control Unit.

The control unit primarily provides signals to switch the welding current on and off for the resistance welder, controls the welding current value, and monitors and handles faults.
