The all-position welding machine is an automated welding device. Operating it requires no distinction between welder categories, with only short-term training needed for on-the-job readiness. This machine addresses the challenges of skilled welder shortages and recruitment difficulties. During operation, the all-position welding cart delivers stable arc combustion, uniform seam composition, excellent weld bead formation, minimal porosity, high filler metal deposition rate, and ensures precise welding parameters. It excels in meeting special requirements and quality standards, making it widely applicable for various shipbuilding welds including vertical corner welds, flat corner welds, and flat butt welds. Compared to vertical gas welding, the all-position welding cart offers lightweight equipment and simplified operation. However, it has yet to gain widespread adoption in shipbuilding processes.
